How much can you claim from the Sahara Refund Portal?

The amount you can claim from the Sahara reimbursement portal depends on the details of your investment in the cooperative societies of the Sahara group. Eligible investors who deposited ₹10,000 or more can receive the first payment up to ₹10,000. The total redemption amount allocated is ₹5,000 crore. Depositors of Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited and Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited with outstanding balance before 22 March 2022 are eligible for repayment. Similarly, Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited depositors with dues outstanding before March 29, 2023 are also eligible for the refund.

• Depositors of Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited and Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited before March 22, 2022.

How to apply for the Sahara Reimbursement Portal

Follow these steps to request a refund on the Sahara refund portal:

1. Visit the official website of the Sahara Refund Portal https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/Depositor/Register.
2. On the Depositor Registration page, enter the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar number, 10-digit Aadhaar linked mobile number and captcha.
3. Click “Submit” to continue.
4. Enter the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar number and the 10-digit mobile phone number linked to Aadhaar on the depositor login page of the CRCS portal.
5. Click “Get 6-digit OTP” to receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered mobile phone number.
6. Enter the received six-digit OTP and click “Verify OTP to enter” to log in.
7. Agree and agree to the terms and conditions by clicking “I Agree”.
8. On the Personal Details screen, provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click “Get OTP” to verify your details.
9. Aadhaar user details will be displayed including first name, middle name, last name, date of birth (DOB) and father/husband name.
10. Optionally, you can enter your email ID.
11. Provide the details of the Certificate of Deposit.
12. Click “Submit Claim” to continue.
13. Fill in the details of your claim for reimbursement correctly, as corrections will not be possible later.
14. Attach a photograph as proof.
