केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आज भारतीय युवाओं के लिए सशस्त्र बलों में सेवा के लिए एक आकर्षक भर्ती योजना को मंजूरी दी। इस योजना को अग्निपथ कहा जाता है और इस योजना के तहत चुने गए युवाओं को अग्निवीर कहा जाएगा। अग्निपथ देशभक्त और प्रेरित युवाओं को चार साल की अवधि के लिए सशस्त्र बलों में सेवा करने की अनुमति देता है।
अग्निपथ योजना को सशस्त्र बलों के युवा प्रोफाइल को सक्षम करने के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है। यह उन युवाओं को अवसर प्रदान करेगा जो समाज से युवा प्रतिभाओं को आकर्षित करके वर्दी दान करने के इच्छुक हो सकते हैं जो समकालीन तकनीकी प्रवृत्तियों के अनुरूप हैं और समाज में कुशल, अनुशासित और प्रेरित जनशक्ति को वापस लाते हैं। सशस्त्र बलों के लिए, यह सशस्त्र बलों के युवा प्रोफाइल को बढ़ाएगा और ‘जोश’ और ‘जज्बा’ का एक नया पट्टा प्रदान करेगा, साथ ही साथ एक अधिक तकनीकी जानकार सशस्त्र बलों की ओर एक परिवर्तनकारी बदलाव लाएगा – जो वास्तव में है समय की आवश्यकता। यह परिकल्पना की गई है कि इस योजना के कार्यान्वयन से भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की औसत आयु लगभग 4-5 वर्ष कम हो जाएगी। आत्म-अनुशासन, परिश्रम और ध्यान की गहरी समझ के साथ अत्यधिक प्रेरित युवाओं के संचार से राष्ट्र को अत्यधिक लाभ होता है जो पर्याप्त रूप से कुशल होंगे और अन्य क्षेत्रों में योगदान करने में सक्षम होंगे। राष्ट्र, समाज और राष्ट्र के युवाओं के लिए एक छोटी सैन्य सेवा के लाभांश बहुत अधिक हैं। इसमें देशभक्ति की भावना, टीम वर्क, शारीरिक फिटनेस में वृद्धि, देश के प्रति निष्ठा और बाहरी खतरों, आंतरिक खतरों और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रशिक्षित कर्मियों की उपलब्धता शामिल है।
नियम एवं शर्तें –
अग्निपथ योजना के तहत, अग्निपथ को चार साल की अवधि के लिए संबंधित सेवा अधिनियमों के तहत बलों में नामांकित किया जाएगा। वे सशस्त्र बलों में एक अलग रैंक बनाएंगे, जो किसी भी मौजूदा रैंक से अलग होगी। सशस्त्र बलों द्वारा समय-समय पर घोषित की गई संगठनात्मक आवश्यकता और नीतियों के आधार पर चार साल की सेवा पूरी होने पर, अग्निवीरों को सशस्त्र बलों में स्थायी नामांकन के लिए आवेदन करने का अवसर प्रदान किया जाएगा। इन आवेदनों पर उनकी चार साल की सगाई की अवधि के दौरान प्रदर्शन सहित उद्देश्य मानदंडों के आधार पर केंद्रीकृत तरीके से विचार किया जाएगा और प्रत्येक विशिष्ट बैच के 25% तक सशस्त्र बलों के नियमित कैडर में नामांकित किया जाएगा। विस्तृत दिशा-निर्देश अलग से जारी किए जाएंगे। चयन सशस्त्र बलों का अनन्य क्षेत्राधिकार होगा। इस साल 46,000 अग्निशामकों की भर्ती की जाएगी।
